AS Media Questionnaire analysis for Thriller Movie!

After giving out questionnaires to the boys in my house I have gathered them back in and made this analysis. When I asked the boys what they expected to see in a thriller movie, three out of the 5 who answered the questionnaire responded with bloody, monsters or killer. This makes the story of our thriller fit in with what the average teenage boy would expect.

When I asked them what aspect of a thriller scares them the most all 5 boys responded with the fun of scaring themselves. This also fits in without story line with the scary and spookiness of the killer and the way he kills and hides his victims.

When I asked the simple question of why they watched thriller movies there responses varied from because it is exiting to the aspect of scaring themselves. This also fits in well with the aims of our story line that is to create tension and scare the audience whilst still making them want to find out what happens next.

Overall I can take this information to make a clear assumption that the type of story line that we have come up with is what the average teenage boy would expect. If I was to redo the questionnaire I would vary the persons who answer the questions to a mixture of different sex and ages rather than a group of the same sex and age.
